I paint what happens beneath the surface.My paintings are born through movement, force and gesture. The body becomes part of the process, transforming emotion and energy into raw, expressive forms.Figures emerge, break apart and transform — moving between innocence and darkness, tension and release, the familiar and the unknown.

I am Adrián Sánchez, a contemporary artist based in Munich, Germany.I began taking painting seriously when I began taking myself seriously.My practice is physical and intuitive. I use movement, force and gesture to transform emotion into form.Through painting, figures emerge, dissolve and become something else.
